Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21).
Your life today is the reflection of your words through the years. You set spiritual forces in motion by words. If you’re not satisfied with how your life has turned out, neither the devils nor your “enemies” are responsible; but you can change it. The power to have a fruitful, productive, vibrant, and exciting life rests on you.
This is a fundamental principle in the Kingdom of God. Even our salvation is based on words: “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:8-10). To experience salvation, you must declare the Lordship of Jesus, believing and acknowledging His resurrection and the new life He’s given you.
Salvation is a word that completely expresses, in a singular term, all what the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ availed us. Salvation means you’ve been brought out of failure, debt, sickness, disease and infirmity into the liberty of the sons of God. Salvation means you’ve been delivered from sin into the life of righteousness. Your day-to-day confessions must align with these glorious realities, otherwise the blessings and benefits of salvation will not be evident in your life.
We rule by words in the Kingdom of God. By your words you’re justified, and by your words you’re condemned (Matthew 12:37). The words you speak will build your children, improve your finances, affect your body, and transform your business. Your words will determine the quality of your life. Therefore, always speak in consonance with the Word.
When you declared your salvation in Christ, enormous power was released to bring you out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God. All you had to do was declare the Lordship of Jesus with your mouth. In the same vein, you don’t need any extra advantage to be a success in life because the Word of God already guarantees your success. The Word in your mouth is what you need. Boldly share your testimony today
The Victory Of Christ’s Sacrifice
on Mar 28 in Uncategorized tagged by pastortv Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works (Titus 2:13-14).There’re those who ignorantly weep over the sufferings of Christ on the cross for us, lamenting what pain and humiliation He suffered for our sakes. Yes, Christ suffered for us on the Cross, but that suffering brought us eternal life, and ushered us into everlasting victory. It was God-ordained that Christ should suffer and the result of His suffering be glory, victory, success and prosperity for us all: “Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow” (1 Peter 1:11).
Rather than lament, we ought to celebrate that Jesus died for us; we ought to declare, everyday, the victory of His death. Jesus didn’t die for nothing; His death gave mankind victory over sin and its effects. By hanging on the Cross, as God’s sacrifice for sin, He took your place and gave you the victory. Now, God wants you not only to proclaim that victory, but to live every day in the victory of His death, burial and glorious resurrection.
This means if you were lying on a sickbed, it’s time to get up for you’ve been healed in Christ. The same goes for poverty; it shouldn’t take a hold of you anymore for Jesus took your place of poverty on the Cross and gave you prosperity: “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9). You can live absolutely debt-free now because the Lord supplies all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus! Your total salvation—joy, health, peace, prosperity, progress, success and victory is the reason for the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Live with this consciousness today.
Death Has Been Defeated!
on Mar 28 in Uncategorized tagged by pastortv Until Jesus came, Satan had the keys of death. The Bible lets us know that men and women were, all their lifetime, subject to bondage because of the fear of death. But Jesus put an end to that through His victory over death and the grave and liberated all men from the fear of death: “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage” (Hebrews 2:14-15).As a result of Adam’s disobedience, the Bible says death came upon all men (Romans 5:12). When Adam committed high treason back in the Garden of Eden by obeying Satan, death began to work in every man. The devil gained liberty to afflict men with sickness, disease and destruction.
But blessed be God! When Jesus died on the cross, He went right into hell, the devil’s territory and took back from him the keys of death and hell: “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death”(Revelations 1:18). He overcame death when He triumphantly rose from the dead and ushered man into a new life. Today, anyone who is born again need not fear death, for death has been defeated by Jesus; it’s the last enemy that will be destroyed, as read in our opening verse, but is already defeated.
